Mehandi is a magical body art which is becoming a hot trend for young and old alike. It is the perfect alternative to permanent tattoos. While it lasts for weeks, it is temporary and painless and fun to apply to yourself or your friend.
Five thousand years ago, it was popular in Egypt. Then it spread around the world and is now popular with body art lovers everywhere.
The Mehandi artist applies Henna paste to your body using a Mehandi cone which is similar to a pastry bag. It's easy to apply. If you are creative, you can draw your own designs. But, anyone can draw beautiful images with the Mehandi stencils.
Henna is a shrub which grows in hot dry climates. Its young leaves are ground into powder which is mixed with water (or other liquid) to make the henna paste. Or, you can buy the henna paste already prepared in tubes. Mehandi Oil is used before and after application of the body art.
